PHOTOGRAPHER AND MEDIA PRODUCER
Mauro’s photographic career started soon after he left art college in the late 70's. After spending time working on the London Evening News, where he shot everything from sports, crime and news stories, including stories on the infamous Iranian Embassy siege, to the Sex Pistols and a young Lady Diana Spencer at work in her Kindergarten School, he joined an international photographic agency as a Royal Correspondent.
Over the next 8 years he photographed every member of the Royal Family, a position that took him across Europe, to the Far East, China, Australia and the Americas. He went on to become Royal Correspondent for Hello! and helped with imagery for the fledgling Comic Relief Charity.
In 1999 Anthony Mascolo, the Tony & Guy Creative Director, invited Mauro to join them as a photographer. In 2003 he became one of the founding team at Bed Head Studio, where he has led video and film production as well as shooting many client collections. When it comes to covering TIGI events and shows, Mauro’s early experiences and talent as a news photographer come into play in creating on-trend collections and enterprising social media imagery.
He is now using that knowledge to inspire, motivate and encourage others, using his photography skills to expand and energise all their marketing media. His work stretches from concept and production to delivery, and can include a full marketing concept on request. He and his team of talented make up artists, clothes stylists and media designers will bring their wide range of experience together to help you achieve your campaign.
